Netgear WiFi Extender Setup

Preparation
Place the extender within range of your main router and plug it into a power outlet. Ensure your setup device (phone or PC) is connected to your current WiFi network.

Key Step
Access the Interface
Open a web browser and type one of the following into the address bar:
www.mywifiext.net
OR
www.mywifiext.com

Scan & Connect
Follow the on-screen wizard to scan for your main WiFi. Select your network and enter your existing WiFi password when prompted.

Configure Extended Network
Create your new Extended SSID (Network Name). You can keep the same name as your router or add "_EXT" to the end to distinguish it.

Reconnect & Test
The extender will reboot. Once the lights are solid green, connect your devices to the new extended network name you just created.
