Rotation Logic: 5 Checks Before Late Game
Most late-game deaths are decided two minutes earlier, at the rotation. Run these five checks before you move and the endgame gets calmer.
Check 1–2: Zone Edge and Cover Line
Zone edge first: hug the slow side of the circle, never sprint through the middle. Cover line second: name your next three pieces of hard cover before you leave the one you are standing behind.
No cover line, no rotation — wait for a better angle.
Check 3–5: Mats, Mobility, Timing
| Check | Quick Test |
|---|---|
| Materials | 300+ combined, or farm on the way — never mid-fight |
| Mobility | One escape item saved, not spent on loot runs |
| Timing | Move as the zone starts, not after it closes |
Your own setup matters too: a stuttering home network loses rotations before skill ever gets a vote.
The Calm Squad Rule
One voice calls the rotation. Everyone else calls threats. The squads that sound boring on comms are usually the ones still standing at top five.
Summary
“What kills your rotations most — timing, mats, or third parties?”- Slow side of the zone, always
- Three covers named before moving
- Move early, arrive calm
