Aim Training Guide: 20 Minutes That Work

Your aim does not need more hours — it needs better minutes. Twenty focused minutes a day, split into four drills, will out-train a weekend of mindless matches.

Minutes 0–5: Warm the Hands, Not the Ego

Start slow on purpose. Track a moving target smoothly without firing, then do gentle flicks to large targets. The goal is blood flow and calm, not highlights.

If your first drill feels embarrassingly easy, it is working. Warm muscles and a settled heart rate are the entire point of this block.

Minutes 5–15: The Two Drills That Matter

Spend the core of the session on just two skills:

  • Tracking (5 min) — keep your crosshair glued to a strafing target; smoothness beats speed.
  • Flick-and-settle (5 min) — flick to a target, pause a breath, then fire. The pause kills panic shots.
  • Keep your sensitivity unchanged for at least two weeks — consistency is what your muscles are memorizing.

Minutes 15–20: Pressure and Review

Finish with five minutes under mild pressure — a timed drill or a bot match — then look at one number only:

Track weekly Ignore daily
Tracking smoothness score One bad session
Flick accuracy at your main range Someone else's highlight reel

Write the number down. Progress you can see is motivation you do not have to manufacture.

Settings That Support the Routine

Turn off mouse acceleration so the same hand movement always means the same crosshair movement, keep your field of view consistent between practice and play, and sit the same way every session.

Twenty minutes, four blocks, one number. Give it two honest weeks before you judge it — aim is a habit, and habits compound quietly.

The Bottom Line

What is your weakest aim skill right now — tracking, flicks, or staying calm under pressure?
