ā ļø Your PC is out of support ā but the fix is quick.
Version 24H2 (Home and Pro) stopped receiving monthly security updates on October 13, 2026. The good news: moving up is a small "enablement package" update, not a big reinstall.
- Open Settings ā Windows Update
- Click Check for updates
- Install the feature update to 25H2 (supported to October 12, 2027) or 26H2 (supported to October 10, 2028) if it's offered
- Restart once when it asks ā you're protected again
ā
You're covered.
Version 25H2 is supported until October 12, 2027, and you're still getting monthly security updates. When Windows Update offers the small 26H2 enablement package, installing it (plus one restart) extends your support to October 10, 2028.
ā
You're on the latest ā fully covered.
Version 26H2 is supported until October 10, 2028. Just keep Windows Update turned on and you're all set.
Let's figure yours out.
If you see 23H2 or anything older, that version is also out of support ā open Settings ā Windows Update and install every update offered, then check your version again. If you're still on Windows 10, or no update appears, we can walk you through your options.
