Windows 11 Password Recovery

Important: Bypassing a user account password in Windows 11 can be sensitive and should only be done on accounts you own or have permission to access. Unauthorized access is illegal and unethical.

1. Reset Password Using Microsoft Account

  • If the account is linked to a Microsoft account, go to the Microsoft Password Reset page.
  • Follow the prompts to reset your password using your email or phone number linked to the account.

2. Use a Password Reset Disk

  • If you created a password reset disk previously, insert it into the computer.
  • On the login screen, click "Reset password" and follow the instructions.

3. Safe Mode with Command Prompt

  • Restart your computer and press F8 or Shift + F8 during boot to enter Recovery Mode.
  • Select "Troubleshoot" > "Advanced options" > "Command Prompt".
  • Use Command Prompt to enable the hidden Administrator account: net user administrator /active:yes
  • Restart and log in as Administrator to reset the password.

4. Third-Party Software

There are third-party tools available that can help reset Windows passwords. However, use these with extreme caution and ensure they are from reputable sources.
