PC Stuck in an Automatic Repair Loop?
Don't panic. Follow these diagnostic steps to try and escape the boot loop and recover your Windows PC.
The Hard Restart
Sometimes a simple forced restart clears temporary glitches. Press and hold the physical power button on your PC for 10-15 seconds until it completely shuts down. Wait a moment, then turn it back on.
Boot into Safe Mode
Turn on your PC and repeatedly press the F8 key (or Shift + F8) during startup. Once in Safe Mode, try uninstalling any recently added software, updates, or drivers that might be causing the crash.
Use System Restore
Boot into the Advanced Startup Options menu (via the F8 method above). Select Repair Your Computer > Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > System Restore to revert your PC to a previous working state.
Run Startup Repair
In that same Advanced Startup Options menu, select Repair Your Computer > Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Repair. Windows will automatically attempt to scan and fix startup files.
Check for Hardware Issues
If software fixes fail, a failing hard drive, RAM, or motherboard might be the culprit. It's time to consult a professional.
