Ready to level up your iPhone game? Let’s dive into the world of Shortcuts and create a nifty automation that sends a text message to anyone who calls you. Perfect for those moments when you can’t pick up but still want to keep in touch!
Find the Shortcuts app on your iPhone. If you don’t have it installed yet, no worries! Head over to the App Store and grab it. It’s your new best friend for automation.
Open the app and tap that shiny "+" icon in the top right corner. A world of possibilities awaits!
- Hit the Add Action button.
- Search for "Send Message" and select it. This is where the magic happens!
In the "Send Message" action block, tap on Recipients to choose who gets the text:
- Specific Contact: Pick someone special.
- Ask Each Time: Keep it spontaneous!
Type out your custom message in the "Message" field. Make it fun or straightforward—your choice!
Note: To make this run automatically, you need to set it up as a Personal Automation.
- Go to the Automation tab at the bottom and tap Create Personal Automation.
