1. Locate the Wi-Fi Icon: On your MacBook's screen, look towards the top-right corner of the menu bar. You will see a Wi-Fi icon, which looks like a series of curved lines radiating upwards.
2. Turn Wi-Fi On & View Networks: Click on the Wi-Fi icon. If Wi-Fi is currently off, click the switch to turn it on. A list of available Wi-Fi networks within range will appear in a dropdown menu.
3. Select Your Network: Find the name of the Wi-Fi network you want to join and click on it.
4. Enter the Password: If the network is secured (indicated by a padlock icon next to its name), a prompt will appear asking for a password, as shown in the image above. Enter the correct password for the network and then click the blue Join button.
That's it! Your MacBook will now connect to the Wi-Fi network. The Wi-Fi icon in the menu bar will turn solid black to indicate a successful connection, and you're ready to access the internet.
