Today's spotlight puzzle hides WAND, SPELL, POTION, WIZARD, ENCHANT, CHARM, RUNE, CAULDRON, CRYSTAL, DRAGON, PHOENIX, MYSTIC in a 15x15 letter grid. Words can run in any of the 8 directions — across, down, and diagonally — and some even cross each other. Grab a cup of cocoa, take your time, and see if you can conjure all twelve.

Wizard's Pro Tips

• Scan for rare letters first. X, Q, and Z only show up in a few spots — a X sitting inside PHOENIX is a giveaway.
• Think backwards. Words like MYSTIC and PHOENIX can read left-to-right OR right-to-left — your eyes love skipping the reverse ones.
• Follow the diagonals. The longest words (CAULDRON, CRYSTAL, PHOENIX) love to hide on diagonals. Trace with a finger or cursor for best results.
