When widower Tom's young son vanishes without a trace, the case hits painfully close to a decades-old nightmare: a string of child abductions by a serial killer known only as the Whisper Man.
Desperate and out of options, Tom turns to his estranged father — a retired detective who helped put that killer away years earlier — hoping the old man's knowledge can help him find his boy before it's too late. Directed by James Ashcroft and adapted from Alex North's bestselling novel, it's a slow-burn crime thriller built on dread rather than jump scares.
Starring Adam Scott, Robert De Niro, Michelle Monaghan, Michael Keaton, Hamish Linklater, and Owen Teague.
It's sitting in Netflix's US Top 10 movies — a powerhouse cast and a chilling premise are doing the heavy lifting.
