Since the tragic death of her young son, acclaimed author Aggie Wiggs (Claire Danes) has receded from public life. Then the house next door is bought by Nile Jarvis (Matthew Rhys), a famed and formidable real-estate mogul who was once the prime suspect in his wife's disappearance. At once horrified and fascinated, Aggie finds herself hunting for the truth — in a game of cat and mouse that might turn deadly. All 8 episodes come from Howard Gordon, the team behind Homeland, 24, and The X-Files.
Why it's trending: this dark, twisting new limited series is a brand-new chart entry, surging straight into Netflix's US top 10 on the strength of its powerhouse lead performances and the "when you chase a monster, what do you become?" premise everyone is talking about.
