Animals is directed by and stars Ben Affleck in a high-pressure kidnapping thriller. When their son is taken, an LA mayoral candidate (Affleck) and his wife (Kerry Washington) scramble to raise the ransom — and the choices they're forced to make could tear their world apart. Co-starring Steven Yeun, Gillian Anderson, Adriana Paz, and Luis Gerardo Méndez, from Artists Equity. In select theaters and on Netflix October 9.
Why it's trending: it's one of the biggest original films on Netflix's October slate, with a stacked ensemble and Affleck behind the camera.
